Yesterday I uploaded our oldest videos, EA, King Of Blizzard and The 2-Fingers Forehead Man. They can all be found in the new section of Videos and hopefully we will be creating some new stuff soon. We really feel like adding this new level to our music, projecting graphic and visual concepts to the recordings.

Personally, I have started thinking about all the ideas I've been writing down since I came to London - about 10/12 songs which originally were going to appear as the London Station demo project. The Prince Of The Horses and Wayne And The Wanderer were created as part of this group. For now all of them are untitled, and most are just 4 chords and a couple of notes for the lyrics, so they need a lot of work to become demos before we can work on them. Lots of acoustic sounds that surely will evolve.

Also I would like to start recording other of my more recents ideas, like Tristan Falls In Love and Devil's Dance. And a new strange little song that I devised just two days ago and sounds interesting. Lots of possibilities ahead!

After finishing Autumn and taking a little break we have gotten back to writing and recording new songs. The most advanced one is Hoy Te Voy A Matar, written by Alex. It's close to be completed, but likely it will remain relatively open for a long time while we continue playing in other songs. We also started A Train Roars and have the intention to record in some others already in progress.
Alex keeps writing, and Tito is planning to demo a nice amount of songs he wrote since he moved to London, so everything is feeling fresh and exciting.
I've spent most of the day shaping an old tricky tune of mine and it's sounding promising.
Meanwhile, Tito is updating the video section. There should be 3 or 4 of our older videos up soon, and we might start one for The Moth & The Candle any day.

Actually it was out like ten days ago... but following the customs of this EP the blog post about it has also been delayed!

We have put the Autumn off for a long time. We started it around 2007 and since then a lot of things have happened: we are living very far from each other, we have jobs (more or less) and time seems to be running away faster each day. But today, I mean a few days ago, we have managed to get it out of the dark and finally finish it. Woohooo!

Although the album sounds pretty cool, I think we hate it a little for the time it has been delayed. It's true it's not the fault of the album itself, but finishing it has been like removing a pain from ourselves.

No much more to say, we feel pretty optimistic right now and we are recording new random stuff to compose new random albums. Fun!

The last few days we have made great progress on the Autumn EP: it could be said that about 60% is complete and ready to be enjoyed. If things go as planned it could be released before the end of March, more than 5 years after we started recording it.

Lost Song, one of the most difficult and beautiful and evolved songs we have ever done, was saved thanks to a beautiful mandolin (called Mandarina) that Mario gave me for my birthday. A couple of weeks ago I started to add lots of mandolin tracks on Lost Song and completely turned the song around. New melodies appeared and I was able to record ambiental voices and pretty much finish it. Then, last week I did all the voices for Would You Love Me, the last big song that needed major parts. Now, all we have to do is mix, polish and add minor details here and there... and come up with some little instrumentals. Piece of cake after what we have been through with this project!

Last weekend Tito got old and to celebrate it we released a new song, Wolf.
It was written 6 years ago, in the Yellow Room, during one of our Friday rehearsals. We were working in the Autumn EP those days, playing the songs a lot before deciding what arrangements we would use. Tito was absent that afternoon, so we spent it jamming and demoing as usual, creating this piece. As with many of the jams from that period, in my mind the song was intended to appear in Chyba, probably re-shaped and with vocals.
It wasn't until later last year that I decided to rescue it and make a proper recording with Alex as, afterall, it's one of our typical instrumental songs, and we could surprise Tito with this present.
The recording has been long and difficult. Many layers and parts are involved, and we've also had to face many exams during the last 2 months, but the result is highly satisfying and we can say it has been a success.
We will continue this tradition for who knows how long and compile the songs some day. Maybe in one big album, maybe in EPs, we will see how we feel about it. Meanwhile the song is published in this website.

After our first releases of the year (Wolf and the video for Epic Pomelo) we are aiming at finishing Autumn. We might set a release date so we force ourselves to do it on time. There is so little left to do, and at the same time so much. Actually I've been playing around with Lost Song this morning. After that it will be easier to start any of our many new projects and enjoy ourselves. We also talked yesterday about making new videos, so that's something else to look forward to.

As Mario recently announced, we have a new video! Epic Pomelo, the second video from Tremendous Amount Of Cherries, is a totally random mix of crazy old footage inspired by the mind of our guitar player, Alex. He was the original inspiration for the song title so it is only natural that the video is inspired by him as well. As Tito describes it: «it's an attempt to represent what may very well be going through Alex's head at any given point during a simple conversation about, for example, the weather» We are not saying that Alex is bonkers, only that his mind is a marvellous place full of epic grapefruits, weird characters and dirty ideas, and that definitely deserves a video tribute. And it will not be the last.

Not much to say. Some small developments in a few songs (The Clockmaker, Lost Song) and some experiments with 2 old songs of mine, Martin Locked & The Urban Madness and This Chance, combining them in one called Boy With A Kite. Nothing that will see the light of day anytime soon.
A positive thing is that Alex has been working in the secret song. We are having some exams soon, but hopefully we will finish the song in time.
In the meantime we also had some ideas for even more albums. One of them has the working title of Animal. There is no point in mentioning much of it now, and it may or may not become a real project, but it's floating in our heads right now and that's nice.
Oh, and a new video is on the way!

In the last days i've continued working on old demos, mainly in Flowers In Your Hair. I also recorded a bass line for the secret song, although I will try some more takes. I've heard Alex is working in this song too.
Meanwhile, Tito has tried to improve the piano in Lost Song, but without much luck.

Since last week, Tito and me have been ill. We haven't done many new things, but there are some.
I developed a bit more the secret song, which is now waiting for Alex' input, and two more that I would like to appear in an album this year: The Clockmaker and Three Friends. Both are quite old, from 2006 and 2004 respectively.
Tito, despite not being able to sing for any Autumn song, managed to record a beautiful new demo, Tristan Falls In Love.
